Coronary Artery Calcium Scoring

Coronary Artery Calcium Scoring is a non-invasive CT exam used to detect coronary heart disease (atherosclerosis) or calcium build-up in the coronary arteries of the heart. The amount of calcium present is related to your risk for a heart attack.

Calcium scoring can be performed without the order of a physician if you meet the age criteria and have at least one of the following risk factors (please check all that apply):
